The Objective: After the launch of an innovative and ergonomically designed LED range, our client needed excellent in store demonstrations to train retail partner staff and to engage consumers at the point of sale.
Our Role: Blue Square Marketing provided personnel for the In Store Demonstration and Retail Training Programme teams in both the UK and Ireland.
The Campaign: We recruited and trained a team of 69 within four weeks, then deployed them throughout targeted retailer channels (including independents). An essential element of the campaign was speed of reporting. The importance of the campaign was reflected in the number of internal stakeholders requiring timely information, so we made sure that consumer feedback and sales evaluation by channel and store reached our client within 48 hours of each in store demonstration.
The Results: The quality of the training and demonstration teams ensured that all messages delivered to the retail partners reflected our client's brand values and fully complemented the sales process. Our ability to provide key executives with regular valuable information made it possible to fine-tune the campaign proactively as it progressed, as opposed to waiting to find out what worked and what didn't at a post campaign review.
